During her recent visit, Lydia spent time with the family, witnessing firsthand the positive impact the brands partnership has on their welfare and affirming their commitment to ethical practices. The brand collaborates with Hemp Fortex, a leader in ethical and sustainable fabric production, to source their premium quality hemp fabric. They manage the entire supply chain, from cultivation to garment creation, under strict environmental and ethical certifications such as GOTS, Fair Wear and Eco Cert. Furthermore the brand believes in the importance of transparency and actively educates their customers about manufacturing processes and the origins of materials through detailed information available on both their website and their partner’s platforms.
Zone yoga products, including the Zone by Lydia range, are made from sustainable materials like cork and hemp and are plastic-free to further promote environmental consciousness. Cork is a 100% renewable and recyclable material, harvested from cork oak trees without any harm done to the trees themselves. This sustainable harvesting method allows for the cork to grow back stronger and thicker, benefiting the environment by retaining carbon dioxide. Cork trees are also beneficial in preventing soil erosion and can sustain themselves in dry climates due to their water storage capabilities.
