Winki Zinc’s Natural Lip Zinc SPF 30 is one of my favourite Zinc lip balms! The berry tinted colour is beautiful and does a great job at giving all the benefits of wearing lipstick without the hassle. It’s moisturising and comes in a eco-friendly paper tube. I’m keen to try the other colours 🙂 I’m also impressed by the brand’s commitment to be Palm Oil free and love their local initiatives in Victoria.

This sun-protective lip balm is perfect for the summer months. Despite containing zinc oxide, it leaves no white cast, instead embellishing my lips with a wonderful earthy red tint and nourishing at the same time. I love the compostable packaging! I’m impressed by Winki Zinc’s commitment to full transparency and the extra steps taken to source locally, achieve palm oil-free certification (applause!), become 100% plastic-free, and give back to society.

This lip balm is easy to use/figure out, as long as you’re familiar with how cardboard packaging works. It has a pleasant smell and although I used it in the depths of Sydney gloomy winter, I can feel how long the balm lasts. Also, the packaging is the most tactile product in this year’s competition – bravo! I think Winki Zinc is an example of inclusive products – which I surmise is a pay off from working with people with disability as part of their social commitment. This is the kind of examples I’m proud of telling my friends in the blind community.
