Windella Farm is a small business located in Cohuna, Victoria, where all products are manufactured on-farm by the owners. They pride themselves on ethical farming practices, such as ensuring does reach maturity before breeding, rehoming surplus buck kids, regular health screenings for livestock and providing comfortable retirement for animals no longer fit to reproduce. Production animals are given a break from milking for 6 months each year and kids are hand-raised in a protected barn. The brand also does not conduct animal testing and instead uses human volunteers to test their products before bringing them to market.
Windella Farm's Face Oils are environmentally conscious, using recyclable glass droppers and locally sourced product labeling to reduce their carbon footprint. Customers are encouraged to opt for 'naked' soap packaging and to return empty boxes for re-use, with all purchases being packaged in paper or cardboard, avoiding single-use plastic bags. Skincare products are packaged in recyclable materials such as aluminium tins, glass bottles and recycled PPE. The brand focuses on full-size products to minimise packaging needs and practices sustainable farming, including keeping bees for pollination and creating a wetland environment with a newly built dam to support local wildlife.
Windella Farm is actively involved in supporting and engaging with the local community in a small rural town. They have voluntarily organised and run the Cohuna Farmers & Makers Market for the past 5 years, focusing on supporting local farmers, makers and businesses, as well as promoting tourism in the town. Additionally, they have mentored individuals through Startup Central Victoria Accelerator Programs and provided work experience to high school students over the past 9 years.

This is a nice rich oil for dry skin, super nourishing and the smell is really lovely. I think this would be a good choice for a mature dry skin that needs a hydration boost. The oil itself isn’t too greasy which I like. I love that this is a family business where the ingredients are sourced close to home. Love the glass packaging.
