Wild Mountain Child – PlayFizz Dragon Egg

Okay, okay, okay! Who came up with this idea?! Combining crystals with fizzy eggs is the best idea ever! The package arrived in perfect condition, wrapped up beautifully with recyclable packaging, with a little instruction leaflet and a little outdoor scavenger hunt! So FUN! Winter here is freezing so it kept my eldest son busy for an hour inside playing with it while in bucketed rain outside! He was so excited when he found a rainbow crystal which he now treasures. Great gift idea for kids too! I really love this! I also love that they use natural and/or organic ingredients making it non-toxic for kids and that these are handmade to ensure amazing quality. I also really love that they support Pay the Rent as it is such an amazing Indigenous organisation.

This created a fun alternative to the mainstream eggs that are offered everywhere. We ended up digging a hole in the earth and watching the dragon egg erupt in nature. It created conversation about how we could recreate the experiment with other ingredients in the cupboard. Pay the rent is also a great initiative for the brand to support.

This was a hit from the second we opened it in our home especially with my 8 year old boy! He was so excited, loved that he could read the crystal descriptions and really enjoyed the magic and wonder of spraying the egg and watching it create the magical water/glitter combo to reveal the crystal! As a parent I was SO happy with the bio-glitter, organic ingredients/colourings and quality of this experience and I would not hesitate to purchase or gift this to others – it was truly so magical and fun! I am also really impressed by the concept of “it comes from the earth and goes back to the earth”. The sourcing of sustainable ingredients, crystals and the very conscious packaging is a big win for me and what I look for when purchasing better!
