Ethical
Us and the Earth’s Eco Beauty Box is a consolidation of handmade and manufactured products from a variety of countries including Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia, Korea and China, all of which can be reused and then either recycled or composted at the end of their lives. The brand focuses on natural, toxic-free materials such as bamboo and sisal. Us and the Earth ensures no unethical manufacturing processes take place by their suppliers and are moving towards smaller, village based groups for production, ensuring that support is given to the communities and not big industry.
Sustainable
All of Us and the Earth’s packaging is both recycled and recyclable, and plant based inks are used. Packages are sent out using either Australia Post or Sendle, both offering carbon neutral services. The parcels themselves are sent using recycled boxes with plant based packing tape. The brand’s office and warehouse are both operated as zero-waste as possible, with all packaging materials being reused. In addition, they offer recycling of silicone products through TerraCycle.
Responsible
Us and the Earth support three social causes and also donate products to a variety of charities and schools when approached for various things. In Australia, the brand also supports 'Carbon 8' which focuses on regenerative farming and agriculture and also 'HalfCut', who manage a range of initiatives that are both re-wilding and supporting the buy-back of the Daintree Rainforest, ensuring the habitat for many endangered species.
