The Conscious Cracker Co. – Christmas Crackers

I love that these crackers are still crackers and yet sustainable. They still snap, still have a joke and a thought provoking questions. The gifts are also gorgeous and useful. I’ve tried reusable crackers before and they’re very fussy and expensive. These are a great answer to the cracker conundrum. I love how they are made in Australia from post consumer waste. I am also impressed that they’re made in Australia, support small, local businesses and choose better businesses.

The jokes were wonderfully bad and I liked the conversation starters. Beautiful design on the paper and the string is lovely rather than tape or glue. I liked the useful trinkets such as the peg or lovely ceramic decoration, soap and seeds. I like that you can choose from different sized packs avoiding buying too many. The tree planting initiative is also great!

It’s a stylish and sustainable option for traditional crackers that typically contain small plastic trinkets. I also like that a native tree is planted for every box of crackers sold – A simple, but effective action to improve sustainability!
