Tek brushes are sustainably handcrafted in Italy from 100% FSC certified ash wood and treated with linseed oil, carnauba wax, or non-toxic colours. The pins are made from 100% FSC certified hornbeam wood and the cushion is pure natural rubber. VeganOK certified, packaged plastic free and fully biodegradable at end of life.

I like the look and the minimal packaging and appreciate that it really looks like a traditional hairbrush in fact it is throwing back to more original natural bristle brushes. Feels good in the hand and on the scalp – I liked the way the brushed looked stained and you could see the timber through the stain. I was also impressed that you can manufacture a totally sustainable brush these days.

I love this brush! Having very fine hair finding a brush that will brush carefully, not pull and help relieve knots is hard. After using this, there wasn’t any hair in the pins from breakage and my hair felt silky smooth. The rubber cushions and timber pins make a really beautiful brush! I was also impressed that the brand is forest focused.
