Salons are encouraged to offer refill stations to reduce packaging circulation.
Sophic is committed to empowering local communities and supporting Australian businesses by sourcing all their products within a 50km radius from their headquarters in Australia. They collaborate with the local men's shed to produce timber stands using Camphor Laurel, considered an unwanted weed, for their professional range. I really like the concept behind this product as it is a hair cleanser, so feels and functions slightly differently to traditional shampoo. It is lightweight, works well and has a nice citrus smell. It comes in a completely recyclable glass container and is practical for daily use. It cleaned my hair gently and effectively. This brand is also focused on full-circle manufacturing and certification of suppliers which is to be commended!

Cirtusy and gentle this cleanser feels like a spa for the scalp, used daily it felt lightweight and soothing while still creating a lather that felt squeaky clean when rinsed. Perfect consistency for an in shower head massage, or when using a scalp brush. Hair is left feeling softened, clean and hydrated with some wonderful natural ingredients such as old favourite Aloe and other Australian botanicals. I love the locally made ethos and emphasis on using suppliers that meet their policies and that ensure the supply chain meets our consumer expectations. The glass bottle is a stand out for me, I love that this could be filled, reused or of course, recycled! Extensive partnerships show how they take their social responsibility seriously.
