SNUGBAGS use New Zealand-made merino as their preferred choice and have OEKO-TEX and ASO certification. The brand uses organic merino when possible and all Merino is strictly sourced from non-mulesing certified suppliers. Their Australian fabric manufacturer is a fully certified processor of Organic Cotton knits under the guidance of Australian Certified Organic (ACO) with all fibre, dyes and auxiliaries being GOTS, OEKO-TEX and ASO certified.Their seamstresses work from home around family commitments and are encouraged to work at their own pace and enjoy flexible working arrangements.
Sustainable
SNUGBAGS uses 100% natural fabrics that are sustainable, renewable and biodegradable (Merino, Organic Cotton + Bamboo). The brand’s zippers are made from recycled PET bottles and other post-consumer materials using the latest technologies. In addition, their New Zealand fabric manufacturer and dyeing auxiliaries meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the most comprehensive and the highest Standard Certification for Organic Textiles, and are approved by the Institute for Marketecology (IMO). SNUGBAGS uses no plastic packaging or labels and utilises biodegradable, plant-based and home compostable postage bags and reuse cardboard boxes. The brand is also zero waste and carbon neutral.

I like that this sleeping bag doesn’t have sleeves as sometimes sleeping bags with sleeves make it harder to put on when bub is wearing long sleeves. The adjustable underarm straps are a clever idea which I like. I also love that this one grows with your child, so you can invest more into one quality product as it fits for longer. The super soft velour cuffs are my favourite part, I really like how they feel! The part I love the most is that it can be used as a sleeping bag or as a sleep suit with legs, it is super versatile. I think that it is amazing that they use 100% natural fabrics that are sustainable, renewable and biodegradable.The brand also gives to some outstanding charities.
