Formulated with excellent clean ingredients, many of which are organic, including pomegranate extract, aloe vera and palmarosa oil.
Ethical
Skin Juice is an Australian-based skincare brand that produces all of its items in their own Newcastle NSW-based Juice Lab. They use natural, certified organic, and nutraceutical ingredients in their formulations and exclude certain ingredients such as PEGS, silicones, artificial colours, fragrances, mineral oil, parabens, phenoxyethanol and drying alcohol. They source their packaging from Australian manufacturers where possible but also use reputable manufacturers in Vietnam and China. Additionally, they have never tested on animals during their 25 years of operation.
Sustainable
Skin Juice has implemented several changes to improve the environmental impact of their packaging. These changes include switching from plastic to glass packaging, using recyclable and biodegradable plastic tubes as well as PCR packaging. Cardboard packaging is used for certain products and refillable options are also available. The brand uses recyclable cardboard mailers and biodegradable packing chips made from recycled potato waste to ship products and no longer includes packing slips in orders. Learning and training materials are provided online, and the brand is taking steps towards making more marketing assets digital-only. In addition, Skin Juice manufactures products in relatively smaller batches and has installed solar panels to offset electricity usage in their warehouse/head office.
Responsible
Skin Juice donates to various charities instead of sending Christmas gifts to its stockists. Past initiatives have included donations to Share The Dignity, ongoing sponsorship of Guide Dogs Australia, and support for the Hamlin Fistula Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Australia and the Iva Harris Foundation. The brand also donates to local charities, such as Got Your Back Sista, and has supported natural disaster charities for flood and bushfire relief. Skin Juice also donated its Green Juice product to the Mater Hospital Hospice and their patients during the Covid-19 pandemic and has made donations to a local family with a terminally ill child through its local radio station.

I love the scent and consistency of this sweet, milky tonic, and my skin drinks it up thirstily. A nice alternative to regular tonics and face mists, that works well with face oil and moisturiser layered over. My dehydrated, winter skin feels soft and smooth after use. I also appreciate this brand’s commitment to transitioning to more sustainable packaging as well as its efforts to give back to society.
