Shahana carefully vets natural and non-toxic ingredients sourced from New Directions Australia, a reputable Australian supplier with a governing ethos of environmental awareness, sustainability, and fair trade. Their products are hand-made in Victoria, Australia and include Australian certified organic ingredients that are responsibly and fairly sourced. The brand does not test on animals, uses mostly plant-based ingredients, and many processes are undertaken in-house to keep costs low while providing premium products at an affordable cost.
Sustainable
Shahana is focused on sustainability with minimal packaging for products, recyclable plastic or metal containers and in-house design with on-demand label printing to reduce label wastage. They also use hybrid vehicles for business activity, make products in bulk, and only ship within Australia to minimize 'product miles.' This incredibly lightweight moisturiser smells heavenly and I would love nothing more than to cover myself from head to toe in it. I love that this product was formulated using natural ingredients traditionally used in Southeast Asia for generations. I particularly like the addition of apricot kernel oil and calendula flower extract.
