Carefully dehydrated at low temperatures to maintain nutrients, it is finely ground and blended to create a premium quality stock. Made from 100% natural ingredients, it is free from preservatives, additives, artificial colours/flavours, MSG, GMOs, palm oil and pesticides. It is allergen-friendly, free from gluten, dairy and yeast. Proudly Australian made and owned.

Ethical
San Elk is an Australian-owned and made organic stocks brand that uses sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients from organic farmers and growers. They do not use any artificial ingredients, synthetics, fillers, flavours, additives, or preservatives. The beef and chicken stock raw ingredients come from small ethical and sustainable farms and the products are certified by the Australian Certified Organic (ACO) body, ensuring that no GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, synthetic fertilisers or chemicals are used in production. San Elk sources certified organic ingredients locally where possible and has quality partners abroad for when they cannot source 100% natural and certified organic ingredients locally.
Sustainable
The brand is committed to reducing their environmental impact by using sustainable and reusable packaging, as well as recycling materials. Their current packaging is 98% recyclable and they aim to achieve 100% recyclable and biodegradable packaging within the next 24 months, which includes a food grade biodegradable inner liner, eco-friendly ink, and glue. They strive to reduce landfill and waste by offering stock containers that make up to 13 litres of stock, equivalent to buying 13 one-litre liquid stocks in tetra packs, resulting in less packaging, waste, and landfill. They also use recyclable cartons to ship products and utilize recycled materials, including used boxes. Moreover, the brand sources organic and ethical ingredients and is in the process of becoming B-Corp certified.
Responsible
San Elk provides premium quality, natural ingredient products to families for easier and healthier cooking. The brand supports the community by donating stock to local charities, non-profit organizations and community groups, to help feed people struggling with homelessness or disadvantaged. They also run cooking classes on how to cook healthy meals and reduce food waste and they plan to partner up with local food charities to continue to provide support to those in need.

It is also impressive that San Elk is in the process of becoming B-Corp Certified. The brand goes to great efforts to reduce landfill and waste by utilising recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging. An example of their efforts to reduce waste is offering single stock containers that make up the equivalent to buying 13 one-litre liquid stocks in tetra packs – amazing!
