Rustic Maka utilize ingredients that have been minimally processed and are as close to their natural state as possible. The company engages with vendors about the quality standards of each ingredient and their sourcing, asking whether is is plant-based, cruelty free, free of phthalates and synthetics, free of GMOs, manufacturing process, country of origin, is it sustainably sourced and how the use of ingredients may affect countries where ingredients are harvested? Rustic Maka products are manufactured in the US using local and global ingredients.
Sustainable
BPA-free, recyclable containers and biodegradable shipping peanuts are used.
Rustic Maka works with local retailers to collect shipping packaging for reuse in their warehouse and all supplier packaging is also reused. Furthermore they are committed to transition by 2024 to containers made with 50% less plastic, PCR plastic and/or recyclable paper cardboard. These new containers will feature post-consumer recycled plastic that is both recycled and recyclable.
