100% of Rosie Lou paper goods are printed in Australia, right down to their business cards! The brand keeps it local from an environmental and ethical perspective, they want to be sure employees are being treated fairly and employed under the highest Australian standards.100% untreated, chemical free Australian seeds are used.
Sustainable
All products and packaging are recyclable and/or home compostable. 100% of Rosie Lou paper goods are proudly printed on 100% Post-Consumer Recycled (Uncoated) Card and use vegetable based inks. Non-toxic, water-soluble Australian made glue and cotton thread is used and products are packaged in recyclable cardboard. Boxes are repurposed for shipping or compostable mail bags are used. Plastic free postage stamps and rubber stamps instead of stickers are used. Products are shipped via Sendle, Carbon Neutral. The brand has also created an eco work environment through various practices such as using second hand products, natural zero waste cleaning products and windows and doors are used in lieu of air conditioning. The brand's total annual waste destined for landfill is less than a small waste paper basket. The rest is composted, recycled, repurposed or sent to REDcycle/TerraCycle.
Responsible
Rosie Lou has run various fund-raisers for businesses and charities including; The Pyjama Foundation, NSW Rural Fire Service, Tangaroa Blue, Girls Night In, Baby Give Back and also some Local schools and kindergartens. 100% of profits from their motivational greeting card “Go Get ‘em” is donated to the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD,) Support Group Network a cause very dear to their hearts. Furthermore they have annual Christmas Charity Greeting Cards which raise money for Project Kindy, who fundraise in Australia to support locally run kindergartens in rural Malawi.
