This is a wonderfully versatile bronzing shimmer cream that also offers SPF protection. I love that it’s filled with nourishing and hydrating plant-based butters and oils, like cacao butter and shea butter, essentially offering skincare benefits through makeup. I noticed that it gave my skin a healthy glow and can be used as a bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow and even on top of lipstick. It’s a multifunctional item to have in your handbag or for travel! This is an example of a small brand determined to do it right and doing it better than many big brands. Their use of laboratory-made nature-identical mica avoids the ethical issues associated with traditional mica mining. The zinc oxide used for SPF is eco-certified and all products are manufactured in Australia, allowing the brand to maintain control over ingredient sourcing and employ local people! I’m impressed that they’re awaiting their LP Cruelty-Free certification and are vegan. This product brings me back to my childhood of using coloured zinc and the fun that was had painting our faces! Only this is much prettier and more grown up so kids and adults alike can enjoy! I love that this product is innovative and fun. What a great idea to create a wearable sparkly zinc for the whole family to enjoy. I took this on holidays with me and it was lovely to add some colour and glow to my body. A little goes a long way! I was really interested to read that the mica used to colour this product is laboratory made and identical to natural mica which means no natural mica needs to be mined unethically to create products.
