The Olieve and Olie face oil is a 100% natural formula that provides a defence shield against inflammation and free radical exposure. It is Cruelty-Free, Alcohol-Free, Fragrance-Free and Vegan-Friendly. Enriched with Prickly Pear and Australian Macadamia oil, it is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids for soothing and moisturising.

Olieve and Olie is a 100% Australian family-owned and operated business that locally manufactures and handmakes their products on the Mornington Peninsula. They source 90% of their ingredients from Australian suppliers to ensure the highest quality, using raw/unrefined/unprocessed ingredients. The brand follows ethical practices in their manufacturing process, conducts in-house trials on all products, and ensures that all items are cruelty-free. Despite having two non-vegan ingredients (beeswax and goat milk), they are sourced from local farmers to ensure ethical practices. Additionally, all products are toxic-free and certified Australian Made.
Olieve and Olie utilises locally grown olive oil in over 70% of their products, as the trees require minimal water and no pesticides. They harvest olives without cutting down trees and cold press them shortly after. Additionally, the brand is transitioning to biodegradable sugarcane tubes, using fully recyclable retail packaging and opting for durable and recyclable materials in their primary packaging such as aluminium tubes, glass and PET plastic made in Melbourne. They also ship products using 100% recyclable or compostable packaging and offer refillable options.
Olieve and Olie is dedicated to supporting their local communities and charities through various initiatives such as donating to primary/high schools, an old age home, nurses and hospitals, as well as grief support groups. The brand also highlights inspiring individuals within the community taking part in the 2024 world challenge in Cambodia and Vietnam and engages in speaking events at local schools and Rotary events. Olieve and Olie values employing mothers and offering flexible working hours, providing work experience opportunities for students, and offering free tours of their factory for bus groups of retirees.

I love the ingredient profile and the blend of oils particularly squalane. This would be compatible with so many different skin types from blemish-prone to mature and dry. I also enjoyed that the scent in this product was quite subtle. The box it comes in would give the product a nice presence on a shelf and the presentation has been well thought out.
