Nude By Nature – Natural Mineral Cover Blemish Control Foundation

I think this would be a nice simple option for someone with oily skin who prefers a matte finish. My skin felt like it could breathe underneath and the product felt weightless. The packaging was great too, the powder wasn’t messy thanks to the product design. I also love that the ingredients are mostly natural with this brand.

This is a beautiful and finely milled mineral foundation that provides a natural finish. The built-in mesh sifter ensures you pick up the perfect amount of powder and there is no waste. I like that you can start small and build up the coverage in areas that need it so you’re not left with a heavy face of makeup. A great foundation for every day. I am impressed that they have formulated their range free from harmful ingredients and also that their colour cosmetics are free from Carmine. No animal should ever suffer for our vanity so this makes me really happy as so many other cosmetic brands still use them in their colour pigments.

This powder foundation was my go-to many years ago, so it’s been a delight to return to it! It provides excellent, seamless coverage, and my younger self would have appreciated the addition of salicylic acid for blemish control. I’m impressed by Nude By Nature’s commitment to ethically and sustainably sourcing ingredients, as well as their efforts to give back to the communities where these ingredients are sourced.
