Shea butter is directly from Ghana and not through a middle man, they buy it directly from the farmers ensuring they receive all the profits. Beeswax is sourced from an Australian farmer, who supports the local indigenous community with jobs. Furthermore a high end olive oil grown in Victoria that has been tested for its medicinal grade effects is used.
Sustainable
Mikash has switched to screen printing which means no more labels. Furthermore Australian made bottles and closures are used and customers can reuse these bottles for years or recycle them.
Responsible
Mikash Skincare barrier balms are sent to the NT indigenous community to help with dry skin. Furthermore they send hampers to charities that reach out for auctioning hampers to help raise funds.

What our experts say...

Rebecca Sullivan

I really enjoyed the buttery, balmy texture – it makes for a great do-it-all salve that I can share with the baby. The texture created a nice fine layer of barrier on a little bottom, and I put it to double duty on sore nipples too. I also enjoy the idea of direct sourcing so as to heighten transparency and minimise the supply chain.

It is soft, silky and the packaging is really stylish. I also found it works on my baby’s cradle cap really well. I love that the brand has cut out a middle man from the supply chain and that they support Indigenous business.
