BRONZE

Head and Heart Drinking Cacao is a pure and natural product made from Samoan single origin organic cacao fruit. It contains no additives or preservatives. Indigenous farmers select the finest cacao, ferment and sundry it with care and then transport the beans from Samoa-Melbourne. This ceremonial grade cacao guarantees a high-quality experience.

Clean
Made from excellent organic ingredients. 100% Organic, ethically and sustainably sourced Samoan cacao.
Ethical
Living Koko sources ingredients from vulnerable communities in the Pacific Islands, primarily from over 400 small domestic plot farmers in Samoa, Tonga, Niue, and Tahiti. The brand is operated and managed by an all-female staff that supports moms returning to the workforce, migrant communities, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Additionally, Living Koko supports regenerative farming processes and hosts agri-cultural tours in Samoa. The brand is certified slave-free and works closely with WIBDI Samoa to promote fair trade and strengthen village economies in Samoa while honouring indigenous traditions.
Sustainable
Living Koko focuses on sustainability efforts in their manufacturing process. They use solar power in their manufacturing space and have a zero waste policy where all components of the bean are used to create new products and collaborations with other industries. They also employ no waste and no chemical farming practices and their packaging is home compostable or locally recyclable. They seek suppliers aligned with a green policy and re-use all of their suppliers' packaging.
Responsible
Living Koko is committed to social responsibility efforts, which include supporting women returning to work with flexible start times and hours, mentoring small migrant-owned businesses, providing work experience to school leavers, hosting workshops and community tours, and running fundraising activities for communities negatively affected by climate change in the Pacific islands. Additionally, the brand supports global indigenous businesses and employs members of culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
