Made from excellent non-toxic materials. Mix is made of all natural food grade ingredients, free of gluten, additives, scents and artificial colours.
Ethical
Knead Play hand mix all their sensory bases in Sydney, Australia using all natural, food grade, non-toxic ingredients and plant based colourings. Where possible, other eco minded local businesses are engaged, such as plant based cutters/timber stampers, recycled packaging, environmentally responsible printers and sustainably produced logo stampers.
Sustainable
Knead Play sensory bases are made of all natural, biodegradable ingredients. Certified biodegradable glitter has been sourced as well as biodegradable stickers, tape and pouches. Recycled cardboard boxes and hex wrap can be composted or thoughtfully repurposed. The carefully curated eco-friendly accessories are designed to be used again and again across many aspects of play and learning, they are also recyclable or biodegradable. Products are also made to order to minimise waste.
Responsible
As well as supporting Australian small businesses, as a company dedicated to the inclusion of children with food allergies, Knead Play donates a portion of profits to Allergy and Anaphylaxis Australia. They also donate products to their local community preschool.

This is a thoughtfully put-together play kit created with natural materials, utensils and ingredients, empowering children to create freely and messily! My 3-year-old was entranced and excited as he playfully mixed the substances together, creating potions that fizzed and kneading and rolling his own green playdough. I loved watching him concoct his own little creations using wooden tools, mini crystals, lavender and eco glitter. I love that sustainability is at the heart of this purpose-led small business!
