They use cruelty-free raw materials and source their turmeric from Venezuelan organic soils, ensuring fair payment to farmers and keepers. Furthermore their hero product, Magical turmeric tea, showcases their commitment to ethical practices in the US and Venezuela.
Product packaging at Jessica Wellness Australia consists primarily of glass bottles that are recyclable or reusable. Individual product boxes are not used; instead, products are wrapped in recycled wrapping paper for protection. Delivery boxes or pouches are made from recycled or recyclable materials. The brand's main markets are Central and South America, along with the US, and they aim to supply these markets from their supply base in Naple, Florida, or Barquisimeto, Venezuela, in order to reduce shipping distances and minimise their carbon footprint. I really like the tinted matte finish of the Sunny or Cloudy SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen. It has a slight berry scent that’s a welcome change from the typical mineral scent of sunscreens. I appreciate the use of Raspberry oil here, increasing natural UV protection from botanical sources. Leaves skin feeling smooth and protected, not greasy at all.
Small batch production is a great effort. The clarity of knowing that non-nano zinc is being used is important. Social responsibility in the form of educational resources is a helpful contribution.
