Ethical
Janelle's Soaps and Succulents creates handmade products in Australia using ingredients sourced from Australian businesses with a focus on ethical and sustainable practices. The brand supports Australian industry by purchasing Australian-made or grown products when possible and does not test on animals.

Sustainable
Janelle's is committed to eco-friendliness and sustainability. The brand's product boxes and label packaging are recyclable and can be used to store the product. The postal packaging has been changed to paper/cardboard-based packaging that can be recycled and even the tape used is recyclable. However, the RED Cycle program for soft plastics has ceased and the brand is awaiting a replacement program. The brand uses recycled boxes and paper-based bags for purchases at markets and has replaced zip ties with reusable Grunt tie-down straps for gazebo weights.

Responsible
Janelles engages in various social responsibility efforts including using products sourced from sustainable practices, supporting local charities through donations and raffle prizes, recycling and repurposing materials, contributing to the Starlight Foundation, sponsoring two children overseas and using solar panels for power. They also try to buy local products where possible to support small businesses in their community.
Product reviews from our experts…

When opening the product I was impressed by the lovely scent. Tiny in size and convenient for a trip away. Both products felt lovely in my hair and left my hair with a lovely lemon myrtle scent. I love the concept of the shampoo and conditioner bars, reducing the usage of unnecessary plastic bottles.

I also love that JS and S supports Australian industry by purchasing Australian-made or grown products where possible and that they do not test their products on animals.
