Expert Reviews

The texture, appealing scent and feel of the Ishga cleansing balm combine to make cleansing feel like a ritual part of your beauty routine! There is care and quality in the ingredients and manufacturing processes which I appreciated.

A deliciously indulgent cleanser that works beautifully both morning and evening, leaving skin dewy as a beautiful, glowing makeup base. This product is extremely luxurious. It feels as though you’re in a spa every time you use it. I was impressed by how easily it removes makeup and how cleansed and moisturised my skin felt after using it. I am impressed with so many aspects of Ishga’s ethos and commitment to sustainable, thoughtful, local production. Their story is one of biodiversity and the kind, careful harvesting of a valued, precious, renewable natural resource. It is one of supporting local, considered production, clean, certified organic ingredients and of quality.

This golden, buttery balm – brought the bougie! Just a little serve of this marine cleanser smothers and saturates the skin in it’s deeply hydrating formula. The luxurious combo of hebridean seaweed and organic oils melt into the skin and cleans away impurities. I most loved to apply this like a masque, massage into my skin, then simply clean away with a face cloth. This gave me mermaid-queen-of-the-ocean vibes that I can happily sink deep into! Beautiful packaging and a generous serving make this gift-worthy for anyone looking for a little bit of luxe. With all ingredients sustainably sourced and certified organic, I’m impressed by the emphasis of quality by this brand. They create their products with local ingredients, employing local people and supporting their communities. I love that they advocate for girls entering careers in STEM too!
