Ethical
Indigo and Lellow use GOTS certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX certified non-toxic materials/dyes where available. They aim to only work with production factories that ensure facilities are safe and reliable, are open to audits/visits, ensure their workers are paid fair wages and are provided with good working conditions.
Sustainable
Materials used by Indigo and Lellow are of the highest quality and are; natural, organic and free from toxins. They produce small batches every season so there is little to no excess stock to contribute to landfill. Products are either individually packaged in recyclable plastic or have no packaging at all. Orders are sent in compostable postage bags or recyclable boxes and swing tags are recyclable. They also operate an eco-conscious office.
Responsible
Indigo and Lellow donate money and stock to charities including Wildlife Victoria and St Kilda Mums. Furthermore they support local artists by commissioning print designs to use on their products.

Indigo & lellow’s Payton Zip Romper is a sweet staple for your little one. I love that it’s GOTS certified organic cotton with non toxic dyes, so I can sleep easy knowing my little one is sleeping sound! The cute wombat print is a bonus that I enjoyed. I believe it is great that indigo & lellow are using certified organic cotton and it’s great for our bub’s skin as it ensures the textiles are free from nasty chemicals that could cause reactions/irritation. I also enjoy that they are thinking about people throughout their supply chain and giving back to the community.

This romper is so beautiful! The sizing is true to size, fabric is soft and I really love the cute design. I also love that it’s a zip instead of buttons – making it much easier to put on a wriggly bub! I found that the fold down cuffs on hands and feet are really handy for colder days and nights. The romper washes well with no shrinkage and dries easily with no creasing. I have been reaching for this one in bubs wardrobe often! I like that this brand is so thoughtful about their production and they don’t over produce their items each season to reduce waste. It is also great that they are mindful about their packaging and the products are produced in ethical factories.
