The wand itself has a useful shape, as it gets to the roots of both top and bottom lashes quite well. I love that it is certified vegan and cruelty-free by both Choose Cruelty-Free and Safe Cosmetics, as well as toxin-free. This is so important as many of us suffer from sensitivities and allergies, especially with eye products. I like that for a small brand, they are already Certified Vegan and Cruelty Free by Choose Cruelty Free, as well as certified by Safe Cosmetics AUS. Gemma Vendetta is conscious of where her ingredients are sourced from and supports Young Care which is great.

This mascara does a great job of darkening my light lashes. It also does a good job of defining and separating. It’s great to see that Gemma Vendetta cosmetics has a strong focus on ensuring the ethical sourcing of ingredients and has put so much thought into how they can make their business more sustainable by offering product refills plus a return and recycling program.
