The brand operates ethically and sustainably, practicing fair and ethical sourcing as well as cruelty-free production. Euky Bear also acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land where their products are sourced from, showing respect for Indigenous communities.
Euky Bear's commitment to sustainability is evident in their use of 100% Australian eucalyptus oil, grown and harvested at their plantations in Victoria. The production of eucalyptus oil is done in a sustainable manner, with the trees utilising only sun, soil and rain for growth and new growth sprouting after each harvest. The remaining plant material after distillation is used as fuel, further reducing waste. Euky Bear has also planted over 4 million trees to date, with plans for expansion to increase eucalyptus oil production in Australia. In addition, the brand is a signatory of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation since 2005, aiming to reduce waste through sustainable packaging practices. Furthermore, Euky Bear has installed a 99kW Solar PV system to reduce their carbon footprint, covering 17% of their energy consumption for production and head offices with solar energy.
