This applies on skin like a really sophisticated, luxury formula. It’s the kind of moisturiser that would truly suit any and all skin. Instantly hydrating and nourishing on the skin, but it dries to leave behind a soft, silky texture that is brilliant before makeup. For something rich in butters and oil, it feels delightfully light on the skin. It works for all climates too! The brand’s social responsibility efforts feel broad-ranging and well-considered. I appreciated that this brand knows that this issue is an ongoing journey, not a box to check. Technology can change, new (sometimes better) options can become available that can have a big impact. That they refer to the issue of recyclability as an aim tells me that they understand it’s a process that they’re always striving to improve at.

The packaging of this moisturiser is fab – the pump is both practical and stylish. Feels soft on my skin and absorbs in easily. I’m impressed that they use recyclable and biodegradable packaging, avoid harmful plastics, and support sustainable forestry with FSC-certified packaging. And also that they champion ocean-friendly initiatives, like reef-safe sunscreen, and support various charities, including those for Indigenous communities, breast cancer, women’s mental health, and domestic violence survivors.

This is the perfect moisturiser to start the day with. I like that it’s super lightweight, feels light on the skin – but is super hardworking – leaving the skin much softer! I like that this brand is vegan and cruelty-free and that they work with suppliers that match their mission. I also like that they are involved in charities.
