A core part of the Cherub Baby brand is being non toxic and promoting healthy eating. They were in fact the first baby bottle brand in Australia to become completely BPA free. All products are tested to meet Australian safety standards. Furthermore all food contact products are tested to food contact standards. The majority of their testing has been completed by independent labs SGS and Bureau Veritas (amongst the most established and trusted labs globally). Production suppliers in China are part of the BSCI Business Social Compliance Initiative, an industry-driven movement that aims to monitor and assess workplace standards.
Sustainable
Designing with purpose and being mindful of the product's life cycle is a key part of the Cherub Baby process. The glass bottle and storage series are designed to grow and develop with baby and beyond. Where products have a limited lifespan, they ensure they can be recycled or repurposed with little effort. Single use plastic packaging is being phased out and replaced with recyclable and sustainable materials (primarily card packaging).
Responsible
Cherub Baby purchases carbon credits from Greenfleet Australia in a bid to offset any carbon emissions produced. This initiative has planted over 9.6 million trees across over 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand. They also donate to WWF’s “Don’t let nature go to waste” campaign, an initiative that helps clean up plastics that end up in the ocean and waterways. When customers checkout with ShopPay, they automatically help to plant trees. They have a goal of reaching 4.6 million trees by 2022! Cherub Baby reusable plastic pouch products can be recycled, processed and converted into useful items like kids playground mats and outdoor furniture! Furthermore they are an Aussie for purpose social enterprise which employs and benefits people with a diverse background of disabilities.

The product’s colour is nice and the silicone is soft but also feels durable. I found it super easy to clean and love that it is dishwasher and microwave friendly. I also love that it has a lid for easy storage of leftovers and the lip on the edge makes for an easy mouthful size for my 15 month old. The suction base is a huge plus as my son loves to throw his things on the floor. I also think it’s very cool that they purchase carbon credits to offset any carbon emissions they produce in general operations. I think that is amazing!
