INBLUEM focuses on using ingredients native to Australia that have been traditionally utilised by indigenous elders. Their products, including serums and soaps, are manufactured on the east coast of Australia to maintain quality standards. Third party filling suppliers are used to ensure ethical hygiene during production, with all ingredients being 100% natural and certified organic when possible. INBLUEM's manufacturing partners hold ISO900-ISO901 certification for ethical practices and they choose wild harvested ingredients for their products. Additionally, INBLEUM is certified vegan and cruelty-free, non-toxic, Australian-made and safe for use during pregnancy and on babies.
INBLUEM is a B-Corp certified brand that focuses on sustainability in all aspects of its business, from products to business practices. The brand is carbon neutral and has planted over 2000 trees to replace whatever is taken from the Earth. INBLUEM partners with Terracycle to ethically recycle all glass bottles and uses recycled FSC certified paper for its packaging. The brand's serum bottles are made from recycled glass, dye and labels with non-toxic soy-based inks. Furthermore INBLUEM implements a zero waste method in its business practices and sells Zero Waste Soap Offcuts to reduce landfill waste.
INBLUEM is a female-founded brand focused on building a global and local community through physical and virtual events and purposeful give-back programs. In the last year, they achieved B-Corp certification and donated over 1500 soaps and sponges to women-focused groups. They have also donated a portion of their revenue to causes such as Indigenous rights, climate change, mental health awareness and women's rights, totaling $32,700 in donations. They have specifically contributed $15,000 to The Returning, $7,000 to indigenous farmers, $5,000 to Baby Give Back and $700 to the Kelly Wilkinson Foundation Limited. This serum is an elegant addition to any skincare routine, housed in a beautiful dark bottle that upon a closer look has a forest green reflection. Finger Lime is the star ingredient, known for its potent antioxidant qualities. I love the “ritual” listing on the bottle, which encourages self-care, as well as the short list of ingredients (ensuring maximum purity with 99.8% Finger Lime). This serum plumps the skin and plays well with other skincare products, creating a beautiful morning glow! I appreciated their time and effort in getting a variety of certifications (including Leaping Bunny, B-Corp, Vegan Certified, etc) as well as their Terracycle program recycling efforts. Their manufacturing process maintains high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, using third-party assessed facilities with ISO900-ISO901 certifications. Bluem also contributes to indigenous communities, supports women’s rights organizations and promotes education and empowerment through their Self Love Club and various community events.
