Expert Reviews

I adored the effect that this clever moisturiser had on my skin. It is incredibly soothing and incredibly hydrating. It dialed down redness and my complexion looked happy and hydrated in it’s care. The texture is unconventional – there’s a really light and watery-on-contact quality that I imagine both genders will love (my partner really enjoyed it). It’s quite clear that efforts to be responsible are not a green spin. I appreciate that the mission to minimise (a challenge to do when you’re selling things!) is really considered and authentic. I personally love the idea of a single SKU committing to a charity partner, because I think there’s a really direct link that invites consumers to actively participate in the partnership, rather than hiding it as a footnote in brand comms, and being vague about what the philanthropy entails.

I absolutely love the green colour and the consistency of the moisturiser. The vibrant green hue helps to combat redness in the skin. The consistency is also great. I’m most impressed by the brand’s commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability. I like the use of recycled shipping materials and that they reduce waste by selling ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ products and are working towards B-Corp certification. Their beach cleanups and partnerships with waste-free brands and Sea Shepherd are also impressive.

This day cream soaks into the skin in record time and instantly makes your skin feel softer and more hydrated! I really like that this cream is made from natural ingredients and that it’s been formulated in Australia. I also like that the brand is working at grassroots level to support and educate about protecting the environment and that they are also working on a larger scale with Sea Shepherd.
