This body lotion, enriched with shea butter and oils from olive, sunflower and coconut, safeguards the skin barrier. Infused with May Chang, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Lavender and Rosemary oils, it boosts skin circulation and promotes collagen synthesis.

Biode Australia is a small team of environmentalists and entrepreneurs who are dedicated to using ethically sourced ingredients in their 100% natural products, which have not been tested on animals. They pride themselves on carefully vetting third party suppliers to ensure they align with their ethical principles. Additionally, all their products are made and formulated in Australia.
Biode offers a Biomenities range to help hotels reduce single-use plastics. Their 100% Post Consumer Recycled bottles can be refilled multiple times and they use recycled and recyclable materials for shipping without foam or microplastics. The brand is working on Bio-cellulose refill pouches for direct-to-consumer options and sells imperfect items at cost to minimise waste. They are also pursuing B-Corp certification to assess their sustainable practices further.
Biode is dedicated to environmental conservation. They organise local beach clean ups to remove plastic from the environment and partner with waste-free brands to promote waste reduction in product manufacturing. Additionally, they collaborate with Sea Shepherd, donating 100% of profits from a specific soap product to support efforts to clean and protect oceans. The brand also supports environmental initiatives in local parks through giveaways.

This body lotion is truly ‘silky smooth’ and actually gets absorbed into my skin opposed to leaving a film on top of my skin. It makes me feel like my skin is getting a good drink of moisture! After 3 days of using solely this moisturiser on my body, my flakey lower legs were now silky-shiny smooth. I love the Biomenities mission to help reduce single use plastic waste in hotels. The amount of plastic single use waste within hotel chains has a huge impact on our environment. The bottles are aesthetically simple and beautiful suitable for all hotel brands and it’s so wonderful that the bottles can be refilled with biodegradable pouches. I am really impressed by this initiative!

A beautiful product, and a brand that has long been a personal favourite. Biode never ceases to provide beautifully and naturally lush and scented experiences in packaging that is truly environmentally low impact. Always love seeing products made with love and awareness of greater impacts, and this is no exception. 100% natural ingredients is a big tick for me, as is being made in Australia, as is the fact that no animal testing is used.

This body lotion has a herbal scent, really subtle and long-lasting. It also gets absorbed right into the skin without sticky residue which some body lotions can have.
I also appreciated the possibility of eco-friendly refill pouches – that I can really get on board with!
