The Awakind original romper is made from naturally organic and regenerative bamboo. Their pajamas are gender neutral and designed to last and to be handed down between siblings to reduce landfill. Swing tags are made from 100% recycled paper and attached with biodegradable string. Furthermore all their items are sent in POLLAST!CTM Mailers (made from 100% Ocean Bound Plastic Pollution).

Awakind was founded on a guiding principle; To create quality inclusive sleepwear whilst educating and empowering families to give back to children in need. I particularly like bamboo fibres for sleep and leisurewear, it’s very soft and retains its quality over time. The oversized cut is very comfortable. The design is inclusive and genderless. Wow! This brand has probably the best Social Responsibility Statement I’ve read in this entire competition. All aspects are so carefully considered, and I love that they focus on local manufacturing – transport is such a huge contributor to environmental impacts. We need to support our local businesses and manufacturing! The use of bamboo is also great!
