Siuno – Ulysses

For me, the standouts in using Siuno’s Ulysses perfume are the beautiful (and thoughtful) simple and elegant packaging, the uplifting and complex scent and the firm commitment and passion to creating as conscious a product as possible. I was impressed by Siuno’s approach to creating a thoughtful, carefully sourced and made product. They are both realistic and passionately committed to ensuring all areas of their business are as clean, sustainable and ethical as possible. In particular, I was impressed by how they recognise the importance of sourcing wherever possible local, circular, raw, sustainable, biodynamic and ethical ingredients and in manufacturing and packaging with care for our planet. An added recognition goes to their commitment to clear and measurable goals for the future!

I love that Ulysses is crafted from 100% pure plant material. The fragrance, from the gorgeous unisex bottle, is predominantly green and woody, however this evolves upon contact with the skin as the scent softens and subtly sweetens. A perfume suitable for all humanity! It is fantastic that Siuno is committed to sourcing sustainable and ethically harvested ingredients for their perfumes. I also really respect that the brand donates to a charity dedicated to supporting Indigenous communities, with the aspiration of honouring the wisdom of our elders,

I love that this perfume is inspired by Ulysses because the scent itself is highly transformative. It begins with earthy, woody notes of vetiver and sandalwood, then transitions to brighter, zesty notes of lime and yuzu, all the while maintaining its grounding elements. Siuno’s wholehearted commitment to ethical and clean ingredients, sustainability and social impact is highly impressive.
