Ethical Practices

Mykti prioritises ethical practices by sourcing Fair Trade raw materials, ensuring fair labour conditions and humane treatment of animals in the supply chain. All products are vegan, cruelty-free and do not contain ingredients tested on animals. Additionally, the brand strives to avoid palm oil, wheat and gluten, using only certified sustainable palm oil if necessary.

Sustainable Practices

Mukti prioritises sustainability and mindful manufacturing practices across sourcing, formulating, manufacturing and distribution processes. The brand uses glass packaging, which can be endlessly upcycled and simplifies materials to reduce landfill waste. All paper and cardboard are PEFC certified and external cartons are made from recycled cardboard. Plastic bottles are made from recyclable options. The brand is powered by solar energy and offset carbon emissions through planting initiatives. By Q2 2023, all single-use plastics will be phased out, with a focus on eliminating thoughtless consumption and increasing the use of recycled materials.

Social Impact

Mukti partners with and donates a portion of their sales to various conservation and environmental foundations and charities as part of their Earth Defender Program. Some of the organisations they support include the Bob Brown Foundation, Save The Bees, Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF), Farmers Footprint and local Byron Bay and Northern River donations and charities.
