Kylies Professional products are all vegan and cruelty-free, not tested on animals and free from harmful or toxic ingredients. They are certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia, PETA and Australian Allergy Certified. The ingredients are sourced ethically from companies with high ethical standards, strict production and ingredient rules and transparent manufacturing processes. Most products are made in Australia, with pencils made in Germany. The brand never uses or sources cheap makeup from countries with poor human rights records and uses certified organic ingredients when possible.
Kylies Professional prioritises sustainability by using recycled product packaging such as paper, Aluminium, glass, Bamboo and recyclable plastic while phasing out plastic. Their Luxury cream foundation is now packaged in glass with an Aluminium lid and they offer new aluminum lipstick packaging, refillable aluminum magnetic tins for pressed products, a white bamboo compact for pressed foundation and glass packaging for concealer. They also offer recycling through Terracycle, refillable options for pressed and loose products, no box option for online orders and promote their 98% Australian-made products to reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, they utilise extensive solar panels to meet all electricity needs and contribute excess energy back to the grid.
Kylie is a passionate advocate for educating people on the importance of using toxin-free and safe beauty products. She has spoken at Expos, beauty schools and done makeup demonstrations to spread awareness about ethical beauty. This is such a beautiful palette and the pigmented shadows blend like a dream! The earthy colour story is versatile and wearable and can be used to create looks for day and night. The sustainable magnetic palette is extremely secure so the shadows don’t move around making this palette a great choice for travelling or in a professional makeup kit. I love Kylie’s commitment to more sustainable packaging and that they are phasing out plastic. The refillable aluminium magnetic refillable tin means I can continue to use this tin for years to come and just buy shadow refills as I need them. I also love that they offer a no-box option at checkout – such a smart idea to minimise waste!

I love that the packaging is light and made of metal. The shadows are easy to work with and it’s great that you can customise your own palette with shades you use most to reduce the waste that often happens with eyeshadow palettes.
